It is starting to smell like Spring Cleaning!!

Today was a beautiful day here on PEI, it was +2 sunny and nice. More snow is melting and
more ground is being uncovered.

This is a picture of downtown Charlottetown taken this morning
from a live cam.

After getting Raven off to school this morning I packed the other two girls up and we headed to Charlottetown for the day. We went to Walmart! ( One of my favorite stores) It is spring cleaning time and I wanted to get a bunch of new cleaning supplies ( I was very excited...Ha! I know I am little crazy) I am a die hard Pinesol fan, I love the smell, I love the cleaning power and ya, again I will say it, I LOVE the smell. But, since we have moved here I find it doesn't have the same smelling affect as it did in our old house. I think it is because I had all hardwood in our old house and in this one I have carpet ( yuck! I hate carpet), and I would use pinesol to mop all the floors so it would put more of the smell in the house. But with having carpet everywhere except for the kitchen and bathroom the smell isn't as lingering. So for now I have put away my pinesol...but only for now, when we finish renovations on the entire house I will have NO CARPET! and I will go back to using my beloved Pinesol.Ha!

One of the blogs that I read daily, Kelly had written about Pledge Multi Surface Cleaner and how she loved it. So I took her advice and went and bought some. I really like it! I was skeptical at first on how well it would clean glass, but it works just as well as Windex! I used it on my bathroom sink and counter top and it was great! I bought the lavender scented kind ( because I am all about things smelling pretty). It is great to be able to dust, clean mirrors, counter tops etc with just one cleaning product, no more carrying multiple bottles around room to room.

I also changed my mop and bucket to a swiffer wet jet Well, I will still use the mop and bucket for weekly cleaning, but in between its easier to use the Swiffer. Again in our old house it was too expensive to use the swiffer, I would go through a bottle of solution everyday...but now with just the kitchen and bathroom a bottle of cleaner should last a week.

I Love cleaning, and more so I love when my house is clean! It gives me such a good feeling.I am a Domestic Engineer hear me roar! Ha!What are your favourite cleaning products? Do you have any tricks or tips on cleaning?
