How Cute is this?

I took this video at my daughter Raven's birthday party last weekend. The kids were playing musical chairs. The little dancing queen (or princess) is my neice Maria. I thought this was so cute and funny!

Where did the week go?

Wow, this week flew by! I started my school bus driver course monday, and it is going great! I get up at 5am and have to leave the house by 6am. The driving school is in summerside, which is an hour and 40 minute drive. Classes start at 8am. I usually don't get home until 6:30pm. Thank goodness it is only 3 weeks long!

We had Raven's 8th birthday party on saturday, it was a rainy, cold day, and we had planned on an outdoor party....at Brudenell Resort, but it had to be moved indoors. It was fun! She cleaned up with birthday cash and some great gifts!
River's 5th birthday is in a few short weeks, we are planning a movie theater party for her! The town we live in has an old-fashioned movie theater, its great!

Do you love burning candles in your house? Are you tired of not being able to smell them? Then why not try the very best, Gold Canyon Candles. Not only will you get hours and hours and hours of wonderful smell while they are burning, you can even smell them after you put them out. Come take a look at what we have to offer at http://www.mygc.com/kingscountycandles
Gold Canyon offers a complete line of candles, bath and body products and home products including home fragrance in the form of scented candles, room sprays and sachets; home décor with various candle holders; a full line of body care essentials and candle care products such as wick dippers and trimmers and wickless home fragrance.

We also offer a wide variety of candle holders for special occasions such as Thanksgiving, Halloween, and Christmas. We have a great variety of our favorite Baking Line such as Warm Apple Crisp and Oatmeal Raisin Cookie and one of my favorites Strudel & Spice. This is just a few items Gold Canyon Candles has to offer.

We have a great home business opportunity and a way to earn free candles. I'd love to talk to you about either of these... just contact me!

Top 10 Reasons to Buy Gold Canyon Candles!

1. Incredible Fragrance and Outstanding Quality! - You will not find a stronger scented candle on the market today. Our candles are packed with as much aromatic fragrance as possible to give you a burning experience unlike any other!

2. Lead-free Double Wicks - In any Gold Canyon Candle larger than a 5oz, you will find double wicks. This allows your candle to liquefy and burn evenly the whole way across the top. No more pushing unburned wax down from the side of the jars!

3. 100% Fragrance!! - This means that our candles are as fragrant at the bottom as they are at the top. Every inch of our candle wax is fragranced.

4. Cool Burning Wax - If you are concerned about burning candles with small children around, don't be. Gold Canyon Candles contain cool wax which, if spilled on skin, will be warm but will not burn.

5. Safety Wicks - Each Gold Canyon Candle comes with safety wicks. This means that when there is about 1/2" of wax left in the candle, the wick will not light or will extinguish if burning. An extra ounce of wax is poured into each candle to accommodate this feature.

6. 100% Edible - Edible??!! Yes, if your small child happened to decide to munch on a candle, the wax is 100% edible and non-toxic.

7. Outstanding Selection - During any given season, Gold Canyon features approximately 100 different fragrances in various categories. Our wide array of fragrances and types of candles ensures that everyone is able to find the perfect fragrance!

8. Great Price - Great quality does not always have to come with a high price tag. You will find the highest quality candle at the lowest possible prices!

9. Prayer Child Program - A portion of EVERY purchase goes directly to children in need through our Prayer Child program. It's our chance to give something back to the community and we take great pride in our service to those in need.

10. Outstanding Quality - Gold Canyon Candles was founded with the goal of creating "The World's Finest" candle. Today, we continue to meet this goal.

What did you do today?

I am loving the beautiful fall weather, frosty mornings, crisp evenings, and sunny days! I love fall decorations, and scented candles!

I am also loving the kids back to school! I drive them to school, which is only a few mintues down the road, but it gets me back into a routine.

Mmmmm, can't forget about fall baking...

Doesn't this cake look amazing...

In the summer our days are complete fly by the seat of our pants type days....lol I don't work, so I am home with them and we just do whatever we feel like doing ( which is mostly hang out at the beach or in our bakyard pool). And needless to say I didn't get to the gym once over the summer. Once school stopped so did my workouts!

So the first day of school was my first day back at the gym! After I drop them at school, I go straight to the gym, if I didn't go straight there, I wouldn't end up going...lol. So my week days go a little something like this:

7am I wake up and enjoy the 30 minutes before I have to wake up the girls..lol ( I usually start the coffee maker and then hop in the shower)

7:30 I wake up 2 of my 3 sleepy heads and get their breakfast

By 8am they have eaten, and watched a little morning cartoons, and have almost finsihed brushing their teeth, washing their face, and brushing their hair.

By 8:30 they might be dressed, or half way there, ...lol and I am telling them to hurry up..lol while I am packing Raven's lunch ( River is in kindergarten, which is half day, and their snacks are supplied)

8:40 we are out the door on the way to school!

8:45-8:50 I drop them off at school, Raven gets to play outside until the bell rings at 9:10, and River gets hand delivered to the kindergarten teacher Ms.B.

8:55 I am on my way to the gym!

9:15 I start my workout burn fat burn!!!!

10:15 I am finished my workout and feeling great! I grab a coffee from the town bakery on my way home!

10:35 I am home and greeted by my only baby left at home Kiki, and of course my fur baby Riya and my hubby.

10:40 After having a quick chat with hubby, I start all my daily chores.....which of course varies from day to day but usually always starts with cleaning the bathroom and bedrooms, then breakfast dishes.....you get the point...lol

11:55 I head back over the the school to pick up River from kindergarten, head home and start lunch, all while listening about how her day at school went :) After lunch is done and dishes are done, thats where my routine ends...lol the afternoons we will run errands or if something else around the house still needs to be done ( like laundry..ugh).

3:00 I head back over to the school to pick Raven up and bring her home, she has a snack, we do her homework, and then she joins the other girls outside playing until supper is ready.

6pm we eat supper, spend time together as a family, and then I do the dishes and hubby helps get the girls ready for bed.

7:30 all three are in bed and 8pm is lights out!

I really enjoy evenings that I stay home and watch tv with hubby and knit or just relax and spend time on the computer reading all the great blogs that I follow!

11pm is bedtime, and then the next morning it starts all over again!!!! LOL

***UPDATE***

I am very excited to say that I start a course Monday, so for 3 weeks I will be getting up at 5am and leaving the house by 6am to drive 1hr and 35 minutes to Summerside, to take a School Bus Driver Course!!!! And after the 3 week course I start work as a School Bus Driver!!!! This is a job where I will have the best of both worlds ( stay at home mom/working mom)! School Bus Drivers here do their 30min-1 hr run in the mornings then go home ( or to another job, etc) and then come back around 2pm to do the afternoon run. So, I will be back home by 9-9:30 depending on the run, and have most of the day at home !! And the pay is not bad either, you get paid for 5 hrs a day, even if you only drive an hour a day! And its a union job, so you get health, and dental coverage, and also pay into a pension!!

This is the perfect job for me, with hubby's health problems, and my kids ages. I get summers off, Spring break, every stormday, school closure, etc. Whatever days my kids don't have school, I don't have work!

We had such a great summer, but I am glad school has started and I can get back into a routine.
