What did you do today?

I am loving the beautiful fall weather, frosty mornings, crisp evenings, and sunny days! I love fall decorations, and scented candles!

I am also loving the kids back to school! I drive them to school, which is only a few mintues down the road, but it gets me back into a routine.

Mmmmm, can't forget about fall baking...

Doesn't this cake look amazing...

In the summer our days are complete fly by the seat of our pants type days....lol I don't work, so I am home with them and we just do whatever we feel like doing ( which is mostly hang out at the beach or in our bakyard pool). And needless to say I didn't get to the gym once over the summer. Once school stopped so did my workouts!

So the first day of school was my first day back at the gym! After I drop them at school, I go straight to the gym, if I didn't go straight there, I wouldn't end up going...lol. So my week days go a little something like this:

7am I wake up and enjoy the 30 minutes before I have to wake up the girls..lol ( I usually start the coffee maker and then hop in the shower)

7:30 I wake up 2 of my 3 sleepy heads and get their breakfast

By 8am they have eaten, and watched a little morning cartoons, and have almost finsihed brushing their teeth, washing their face, and brushing their hair.

By 8:30 they might be dressed, or half way there, ...lol and I am telling them to hurry up..lol while I am packing Raven's lunch ( River is in kindergarten, which is half day, and their snacks are supplied)

8:40 we are out the door on the way to school!

8:45-8:50 I drop them off at school, Raven gets to play outside until the bell rings at 9:10, and River gets hand delivered to the kindergarten teacher Ms.B.

8:55 I am on my way to the gym!

9:15 I start my workout burn fat burn!!!!

10:15 I am finished my workout and feeling great! I grab a coffee from the town bakery on my way home!

10:35 I am home and greeted by my only baby left at home Kiki, and of course my fur baby Riya and my hubby.

10:40 After having a quick chat with hubby, I start all my daily chores.....which of course varies from day to day but usually always starts with cleaning the bathroom and bedrooms, then breakfast dishes.....you get the point...lol

11:55 I head back over the the school to pick up River from kindergarten, head home and start lunch, all while listening about how her day at school went :) After lunch is done and dishes are done, thats where my routine ends...lol the afternoons we will run errands or if something else around the house still needs to be done ( like laundry..ugh).

3:00 I head back over to the school to pick Raven up and bring her home, she has a snack, we do her homework, and then she joins the other girls outside playing until supper is ready.

6pm we eat supper, spend time together as a family, and then I do the dishes and hubby helps get the girls ready for bed.

7:30 all three are in bed and 8pm is lights out!

I really enjoy evenings that I stay home and watch tv with hubby and knit or just relax and spend time on the computer reading all the great blogs that I follow!

11pm is bedtime, and then the next morning it starts all over again!!!! LOL

***UPDATE***

I am very excited to say that I start a course Monday, so for 3 weeks I will be getting up at 5am and leaving the house by 6am to drive 1hr and 35 minutes to Summerside, to take a School Bus Driver Course!!!! And after the 3 week course I start work as a School Bus Driver!!!! This is a job where I will have the best of both worlds ( stay at home mom/working mom)! School Bus Drivers here do their 30min-1 hr run in the mornings then go home ( or to another job, etc) and then come back around 2pm to do the afternoon run. So, I will be back home by 9-9:30 depending on the run, and have most of the day at home !! And the pay is not bad either, you get paid for 5 hrs a day, even if you only drive an hour a day! And its a union job, so you get health, and dental coverage, and also pay into a pension!!

This is the perfect job for me, with hubby's health problems, and my kids ages. I get summers off, Spring break, every stormday, school closure, etc. Whatever days my kids don't have school, I don't have work!
