I pimped my blog!!!

As I was looking at all the blogs that took part in Friday's "Show us where you live" extravaganza, I couldn't help but notice all the awesome blogs out there, and all the great designs. And mine was feeling (and looking) rather dull. For some reason, I thought that all the ladies with really cute and nice blogs paid a web designer to make their blogs look like that, and because I am new to the blog world, I didn't want to put money into something I may or may not give up in a months time. But then I discovered the little "cutest blog on the block.com" in the top left corner of a few....so naturally I clicked on it and... Voila! everything I need to make my blog pretty! HA! How do you like it? I wanted one that I hadn't seen too much or at all, and I LOVE purple, and I LOVE Daisy's! So this is so me now!!! I really like it!

I have also discovered Picnik.com and I have to say that I LOVE that too...ha! I tried Adobe photoshop, and others like it, but they are all to complicated for me. Picnik, is super simple. Here are a few pics that I have "picniked" lol.

Aren't they great?! I love photography, and usually I take 50 pictures a day, but a couple months ago, I made the mistake of forgetting my camera case in our vehicle when we were staying at a hotel in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The back window of our Santa Fe was smashed out and the thieves took my camera case (which had both my digital camera and my video camera). Because house insurance covers items stolen from vehicles, and we were in the process of moving and didn't have house insurance, we were left up crappy creek without a paddle. And because money definitely doesn't grow on trees for us, I have yet to get a new camera. I feel completely lost. I have been using my sister Chandler's camera, which in comparison to the camera I had fails miserably :( but it still is a camera and I am thankful that she doesn't use it a whole lot and that she has let me have it for a few weeks now.
